We know students love pool parties, and we know they love a good movie night. You know what they’ll love even more? Combining the two! It’s a simple idea, but an effective one. It would be especially awesome if your party had a theme and the movie matched the theme! For example: a 90’s themed pool party showing a movie from that era. Gotta have the right playlist too!

Pick a pool, pick a movie, drag those pool noodles out of the closet behind the sanctuary, and you’re pretty much good to go. Inflatable screens are fairly cheap on Amazon these days, or you can just use a wall or fence to project the movie on. You can even pick some on-theme foods & snacks, like Root Beer Floats, Twizzler Pool Noodles, Cheez-balls Beach Balls, chips and ‘dip,’ and you get the idea!
