The big idea: Fun event great for all sizes! Watch a movie in a pool or kiddie pools

Supplies: projector screen (big or normal sized), Pool/kiddie pools, Snacks (popcorn, candy, etc.)

It’s pretty self-explanatory, you get your students together and watch a movie… but you do it while in a pool! This event really promotes itself and you can have a voting bracket to choose the movie, pair it with a “Summer at the Movies” sermon series! One of my favorite things to do with this event is to have a theme based on the movie, and do the snack bar up really well (sometimes movie theaters will give you the leftover popcorn from the day before). It never hurts to ask!

This is a great event to encourage students to invite friends, hang out with each other and it can be done with any church despite size or Covid restrictions!
